About Us

Afghan Musicology has been established as a continuation of my academic, educational, and research activities. It provides a platform for sharing knowledge, experiences, perspectives, and research in the fields of musicology, art, culture, and the history of music in Afghanistan.

The blog is also intended to serve as a space for documenting and exploring Afghanistan's diverse musical traditions, cultural heritage, musical practices, and the contributions of Afghan musicians and scholars.

Through this platform, I hope to encourage learning, research, dialogue, and intellectual exchange among musicians, researchers, students, scholars, and anyone interested in the rich musical and cultural heritage of Afghanistan.

Afghan Musicology is committed to preserving, documenting, and promoting knowledge about Afghanistan's musical heritage for present and future generations.
